Jonesy update.

Jonesy had his final injection on 30th December and so we took him on the Weltaf walk around Delamere Forest on Sunday 3rd Jan. He was described as the star of the show walking a good distance in the pouring rain. Since then he's had daily walks and although we intended to keep him to a 15 - 20 minute limit we consulted with Leslie, the breeder, who recommended longer if he doesn't tire. On average i'd say he's getting 40 minutes and after that he returns home to tear around the garden!
Grooming is coming on well and he allows me to comb him in most parts on a daily basis. His weight continues to steadily increase with an average weight gain of  a lb a week. He looks well and  sleeps on average about 10 hours a night uninterrupted. Walking on a lead is also very good for a dog of his age.
The only negative is the bites and nips he gives us, when we respond to these and try to divert him or ignore him he becomes even more 'nasty' with the bites. I suppose we have to  wait until he gets a little older and settles down out of the puppy stage.
